This spring’s St. Peter’s University graduates learned Friday that they won’t be getting their degrees at the massive PNC Bank Center – but, instead, at the school’s on-campus recreational facility. Essex County Sheriff's K9 Unit To Be Disbanded By End Of Year
A petition has been created urging officials in Essex County to reverse a decision to shut down the sheriff's K-9 unit by the end of this month. The sheriff's office stressed that homes will be found for all the dogs when the unit is closed down. Following a trying year, Westport Schools Superintendent Colleen Palmer announced that she will be resigning from her position before the 2019-2020 academic year.
