New Rankings Reveal Nation's Top 50 Airports
The airport is usually the part of your trip you try to survive, not savor.
It can be a soul-sucking pit stop full of delays, overpriced pretzels, and fluorescent lighting that makes everyone look like they slept in baggage claim.
But not all airports are created equal. In fact, some, according to Americans surveyed, are actually enjoyable.
A new Washington Post ranking has revealed the top 50 in the US, based on a combination of traveler feedback, Yelp reviews, and data from more than 450 U.S. airports.

Kitty Dukakis, the wife of former Massachusetts Governor and presidential nominee Michael Dukakis, died on Friday, March 21, at the age of 88, her family said.

Hundreds of people gathered at Skylands Ballpark for the funeral of Fethullah Gulen, a prominent Turkish Muslim cleric, who inspired a movement in his native country, on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The funeral in Frankford Township caused delays in the area, with Sussex County Sheriff Michael Strada asking drivers to avoid the intersections of Route 15, 206, 565 and the surrounding area during the funeral.
Gulen's official X account said that an estimated 20,000 people were inside and outside of the ballpark for this funeral. The stadium has 4,200 seats, the website says.

A Maryland native died while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, those who knew him said.
Omer Balva, 22, of Rockville, died on Friday, Oct. 20, by an antitank missile fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon, the IDF confirmed.
Balva, a dual American-Israeli citizen, was a commander in the 9203rd Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade, from Herzliya.

A Virginia family's nanny has been charged with killing a man in their home last February, even though the family's husband and father initially took the blame for the shooting in a 9-1-1 call, authorities said.

Notorious FBI agent-turned-spy, Robert Hanssen, was found dead in his cell at a maximum security prison in Colorado, various news outlets are reporting citing federal officials.
The 79-year-old former Vienna, VA resident was apparently found unresponsive just before 7 a.m. on Monday, June 5, the Washington Post reports. Purported attempts to save him were unsuccessful.
