Target To Close Stores In 4 States, Including NY, Citing Theft, Organized Retail Crime
Citing incidents involving violence and theft, Target announced it is closing nine stores in four states, including one in New York.
The New York store is in Manhattan, at 517 E 117th St.
Three other stores are in California, in the San Francisco/Oakland market, and three in Oregon, in Portland.
The other two stores are in Seattle, Washington.

Cases of the BA.2.86 strain, known as Pirola, have been confirmed in:
Colorado,
Maryland,
Michigan,
New York,
Ohio,
Oregon,
Pennsylvania,
Texas,
Virginia,
Washington.
The Michigan case, the first in the US, was an older woman who had recently returned from Japan who reportedly had mild symptoms.

A Powerball ticket from the Saturday night, Feb. 4 drawing good for $1 million was sold in Pennsylvania.
Given that no tickets matched all of the winning numbers, the Monday, Feb. 6 jackpot will climb to $747 million, according to lottery officials.
The $1 million winner matched all five white balls which were 2, 8, 15, 19 and 58. The Powerball was 10.
