Lenny Dykstra has his dentures -- after nine hours of digging through a Linden dumpster. The former Phillies and Mets player put his dentures in a napkin while taking down subs at Jersey Mike's on over the weekend, he said on Twitter. It wasn't until he got home that he realized his left his nearly $800,000 dentures -- made from actual bone marrow -- at the restaurant, NJ.com reports. Newark Police Officer Indicted In Fatal Shooting Following High-Speed Chase
A Newark police officer has been indicted on manslaughter, assault, official misconduct and other charges for shooting and killing a fleeing suspect earlier this year, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday night. A 29-year-old Jersey City man will spend most of the century behind bars for killing his girlfriend and the couple's toddler son three years ago, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said in a statement Tuesday. A retired Bayonne battalion chief was arrested for stealing artifacts from the Chief John T. Brennan Fire Museum and selling them online, said authorities who charged him. Paul Avery, 64 of Tenafly, was charged last Thursday with theft after an investigation found he sold several items on eBay including three helmets and a speaking trumpet, police told several media outlets.
