Marine Drill Sergeant Found Dead In Hotel Room During Duty Assignment
A Marine and soon-to-be father was found dead in a hotel room while on assignment, leaving investigators searching for answers and loved ones mourning a sudden loss.
Sgt. Albert Haynes II, 24, of Austin, Pennsylvania, was discovered dead in a hotel room in Starke, Florida, on Friday, May 30, according to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Haynes was assigned to Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and was supporting a poolee function with Recruiting Station Jacksonville while on temporary additional duty when he died, military officials said.

A Maryland businessman who convinced customers to hand over $15 million to help buy private jets instead spent the money on yachts, jewelry, luxury living, and other personal expenses, federal prosecutors said.

Patrick Britton-Harr, 43, of Annapolis, was found guilty by a federal jury of six counts of wire fraud after prosecutors said he used his private aviation company to sell wealthy customers on a dream that never got off the ground.
Britton-Harr owned and operated AeroVanti, a private air club that promised members access to private jets.
